API Reference

REST API endpoints for integrating Amemis into your workflow.

Authentication

All API requests require a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Generate tokens from the Amemis dashboard under API Keys.

Authorization: Bearer amemis_sk_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Services API

Manage your services programmatically.

GET/v1/services

List all services in your account. Returns an array of service objects with id, name, type, status, and URL.

POST/v1/services

Create a new service. Requires name, type (static_site | web_service | worker), and repo fields.

DELETE/v1/services/:id

Delete a service by ID. This will remove all associated deployments and domains.

Deployments API

Trigger and monitor deployments.

POST/v1/services/:id/deployments

Trigger a new deployment for a service. Optionally specify a branch or commit SHA.

GET/v1/services/:id/deployments/:deploy_id

Get the status of a deployment. Returns status (building | ready | failed), timestamps, and logs URL.

Domains API

Manage custom domains for your services.

POST/v1/services/:id/domains

Add a custom domain. Provide domain (e.g. example.com) and Amemis will provision a TLS certificate.

DELETE/v1/services/:id/domains/:domain_id

Remove a custom domain. TLS certificates are revoked automatically.

Rate Limiting

API requests are rate-limited to ensure fair usage across all customers.

1,000
Requests / hour (free)
10,000
Requests / hour (pro)
60
Requests / minute burst

Rate limit headers (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset) are included in every response. Exceeding the limit returns a 429 Too Many Requests response.
